I used roses from my garden and ran them through my Big Shot to create these paper flowers. I made sure the roses were dry, cut the stem short, and removed the petals under the stem. Then I sandwiched them as follows: clear plate, cardstock, flower (face down), paper towel, clear plate. I ran them through the Big Shot, then removed the smushed rose from the cardstock and towel. A perfect image remained, though I had to cut them out, as the cardstock was also stained around the rose. Also, I used markers to make the stamen darker.
