Oh, what a grand challenge we had today for Ways to Use it: Watercolor your background
Today was the 1st day I've attempted to use bisters. I had a few that were horrendous so I had to toss them. I didn't absorb the run off from the top, because I happened to like the effect.

WOW Anne this is lovely..your watercolor bg under the gold embossed petals is so pretty! I love your design with the geisha observing the golden/green panel..the stick and gold ties on top are wonderful details.

Glad you didn't toss these colors - they are stunning! Your gold embossed open blooms are amazing looking against the background, and the lovely lady studying the art is beautiful as well!

Whoa, Miss Ryan, your w/c bg is fabulous and the addition of that gold embossed flower is stunning! You are one classy lady and it shows in your art. Love this. TFS :0)

OMGoodness! Anne, this is wonderful! I love the flower embossed in gold! So elegant! Thanks for the reminder of this stamp--I haven't used it in forever! The geisha and oriental style of mounting the piece is genius!

I have not tried bisters/brushos, but I have seen some beautiful cards made with them, and this definitely goes in that category. I like how you've created a little scene with the lady studying a lovely piece of art.

Anne, it's gorgeous, I love the flow of the bister filled water. It takes a while to see the beauty in you throw aways. Bister is one of those strange mediums where first look you may think garbage, second look wow cool. So glad you didn't throw this masterpiece away.
