Today's Ways To Use It challenge is to make a watercolored background. There are many different techniques that can be used for this, as well as simply using color and water and painting a background. I chose to use the Watercolor Resist technique. The script backgrounder was inked with Versamark and stamped onto watercolor paper. I sprinkled on white ep and heat embossed. Then I chose 3 colors of water color paints (Twinkling H2Os) and randomly painted my background over the embossed script, creating a resist. Let dry and done : ) I haven't used these paints in a long time and I always forget just how pretty they are - I wish you could see the gorgeous shimmer they create but it isn't evident in the photo. The tulip was die cut from white card and colored with Copics before attaching to the background. TFL!

I love the look of emboss resist and yours turned out beautifully! The Twinkling H2Os are great for this..I use them fairly often and know how sparkly they are. The tulips are so crisp and bright...just gorgeous!

Yellow and pink are such great colors together. You've created a beautiful bg with those 2 blended together. I love the image and I love your card. It's speaks of warmth and sensitivity. Beautiful work.

Love how you did your watercolored bg, Claudia. The white text adds interest, but doesn't distract from your main focus of the tulips. Lovely spring colors.

Your colors are beautiful. I always think script makes a nice background and this resist technique really highlights what a beautiful background script creates.
