I hope you'll join us for this week's CAS challenge to use a stencil!
I made my card using a large Heidi Swapp butterfly stencil. I positioned it partially off my paper and held it in place with washi tape. I tapped blue distress ink onto my craft mat (a dehydrator non-stick sheet from amazon) in one spot and tapped the purple ink in another spot and then mixed each place with a glob of modeling/embossing paste. Then I just started applying it in the stencil with the palette knife. I smoothed it out a little, but kept some texture on purpose. Once it dried I stamped my sentiment and made my card base. Thanks for looking!

Love the placement of the butterfly and the technique you used. Such a yummy color too.

Love the chunky drama of this! It would be tricky to stop mixing those colours at just the right point before they turned to grey. You stopped at just the right point to make a beautiful blend! Lovely!
