Today's sketch seemed perfect for an idea I had a couple of weeks ago to make a beach umbrella scene. Originally I was going to use bright, summer colors, but changed my mind & made it softer, sandy colors. I also have my curve going the other way because that's the way my die goes, lol.
After I die cut the large sand bg & smaller white one, I used a curved border die to cut off the bottom & replaced it w/ a piece of designer paper. I also added a little piece of a punched fence, a few pieces of die cut grass & a die cut border to cover the cut.
The umbrella was die cut out a dusty pink & the toppers cut from more of the same collection of dp. I added the flip flops, clouds & a few crystals.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

This is so lovely Julie - I love the way you did your hill, adding the fence and the grass, then adding the brollie - and those flip flops - I cannot wait to get them out! Wonderful card, tfs
