I was so inspired by Karen's (KDunbrook) card yesterday IC485, MIX112, Abstract by k dunbrook at Splitcoaststampers I just had to try my own using gel medium as a resist for Bister.
I first used the stencil and gel and let it dry, I then used Ranger archival for the stamp and heat set it. Finally I sprinkled the bister spritzed it with water and dried it using a heat gun (too impatient to let dry naturally)
I'm also entering this for the Mixed Media March Card challenge "Spring". http://themixedmediacardchallenge.bl...abel/challenge

What an impact this one has! It's gorgeous! Love the gel as a resist using the stencil. At first glance it appeared that you created bubbles! Right into favorites.

A wonderful card! The gel medium looks fabulous - I must try this. If my translucent embossing paste doesn't work for the technique, I guess I'll have to go shopping!!!!

Love the look of the gel and bister together. Will have to give this a try. Fabulous colours Christine, and love the stamped images. Thanks for playing along at Mixed Media Card Challenge.

This is so gorgeous! The bisters react so differently with the gel medium. So impressive and so wonderfully artistic and professional. Do I ever love this. Extraordinary.
