This week we are bringing eagles to the tea party for our SCS Julie's DH who is having some health issues. I used a Stampscapes scene & stamped it in Basic Gray on retired Bordering Blue. I then used ink directly from the pad using my watercolor blending pens to color my image. I used Always Artichoke for the pine trees, River Rock for the rocks of course :-) , Bordering Blue to lightly highlight the water and Always Artichoke again to lightly color the shadows of the pines in the water. I then used my nesties to cut my my frames. I then stamped my eagle in Momento Black on Basic Gray cs and fussy cut him out and popped him up over the water. I bought this eagle stamp some years ago when on vacation in Northern Wisconsin and this is the first time I have inked him up. I just knew he would come in handy one day! I gave this a difficult level of 2 only because cutting the frames can be tricky. TFL ladies.

There are some beautifully peaceful serene scenes for the tea-party this week - mental time out for Dave in the busy-ness of life. With your matting and layering and the photographic look of your Stampscapes background, this is like a framed picture on the wall.

Your Stampscapes scene is extraordinary - beautifully stamped and colored! The perfect environment for the eagle to soar. Outstanding card for Dave!
