I am having one of those days where the stars are aligned and karma abounds - at least in a crafting sense. Chaos still reigns everywhere else. There is a reason for this rambling description. There are 3 places near my work to go at lunch. The closest place is the park with a nice track. With the year round good weather, I SHOULD go to the park daily to exercise.
Next to the park is the library where I like to go to color and work on cards. However, if I drive 10 min. longer with a lot of left turns, there is a wonderful MICHALES CRAFT STORE. Sometimes, like yesterday, my car just drives there by itself. While I was there, in the clearance isle because the bottles were a little damaged, I found this weird paint called Pebeo prisme fantasy. Since I had colored another image for the CC519, I bought the purple and greenish colors. The little punched flowers are painted with this paint. You can't tell from the photo, but the paint dries hard and slick like glass, and looks like copper enamel. It has translucent metalic swirls in it...so totally cool (luckily my ternage sons don't read this to see me use that dated term). The image was colored with copics and I added some glitter glass to the top and sides. For the MIX109, the top and bottom edges extend beyond the card to make a devorative edge. TFL, Francie

Francie, your coloring on this is outstanding! I've been coloring all morning, but mine doesn't look anywhere near this good! Sounds like a great lucky find at Michael's - I wish I could see those flowers IRL! Love the glitter glass, too!

Wow, Francie! That coloring is just gorgeous! You bring them to life with your added white gel highlights! How beautiful these are! I can't imagine doing this much coloring on a lunch hour! Love the bling you added too! What an outstanding card you created, just filled with bright colors!

Francie, this is awesome. Your car knew just where you needed to go and it knew that paint was waiting for you. Your card is gorgeous.....and totally cool. For sure, you have to watch how you talk around those teens so they don't start chuckling. Ha Ha

Beautiful as the flowers are, it was your glitter glass that really caught my eye. I need to try out some of that chunky glitter some time. I'll have to check out the Pebeo, too, it's quite a common brand here - or it used to be. I have some gloss acrylic craft paint, but not with metallic swirls in it, which sounds cool.

The intense colors of your cards has kind of become "Francies signiture"! Your cards always leap from the gallery pages right into the favorites because they are pure eye candy. I love your new find...you have created something wonderful with them. One of MANY wonderful things in your gallery. This is so lovely Francie... and maybe your day job is unimaginative in your mind but what you create in your off time certainly isn't! LOVE this...
