This is for the sketch challenge today. I did not have a plan when I started, I just kept thinking of these colours. I embossed the background with swiss dots. Then for the next panel I sponged the embossing folder with inks and spritzed with glimmer mist. The top piece I did with a wet paint brush and inks. I just randomly put down the colour because I was thinking of the Bokeh Technique but I knew I could not do that as my white ink pad is dry as a bone. So I then used colorbox inks in the green using the Bubbles Stencil. Added more bubbles with embossing ink and white powder and heated. Cut the branch and bird, sponged and mounted on foam dots. Kia, I think you achieved the bokeh effect very well on your bg...much like today's tutorial. Love your choice of the blues and greens and the chubby little bird is so sweet.

Kia, your card is so pretty, I love the paper you created. You did a great job on the Bokoh technique even though your white pad was dry. Very creative.

Your shimmers are gorgeous..I LOVE how your bg turned out!! And that blue bird is so sweet...fab embossed and embossed/stamped panels. Beautiful card Kia!
