For the CAS challenge today we were asked to "Think Spring" - that is not difficult given the cold we are presently having.
I softly stenciled my background before stamping my flower just to get an outline for placement. I used markers to colour my stamp and spritzed with water before stamping. Then I finished using the stencil adding more depth to the colours, but I still wanted it light. I embossed using the SB die to frame the flower and embossed the background paper with the swiss dots. Added the twine, sequins, pearls, butterfly and sentiment to finish.
Dies/EF: MB Textured Honey Comb Stencil, Spellbinders Large Deckled Die, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots EF, Taylored Expressions April Script sentiment die, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch.
Thanks for looking ...
