This is for Lee's challenge: Color of Treasure- the opener for the VSN mini.
I had such fun making this! I remember seeing a card in the gallery (sorry, can't remember who), which had used the Alcohol Marker Marbling technique for a beach scene.
Well, I have 12 Sharpies, which didn't give me much of a colour range - so instead I dripped alcohol inks onto an old plastic bag, and smooshed them round with a felt pad before spritzing with alcohol. I can't tell you how wonderful and glossy this looks in real life - like a photo!
I chose this sentiment because of the way the tide washes the sand clean each day - I thought they went well together.
The sand dollar and starfish are IO dies, and I learnt how to make the shell from THIS beautiful tide pool card by Gem35. I used Versamark and clear EP on mine to add shine.

Can't begin to tell you how much I like this - can almost feel the sand beneath my toes!! I love the way you did this technique - and I am now inspired to try it for myself - soon, I hope!! Love that sentiment!! The font is gorgeous!
