He guys, first a confession:
although this is an older card I made a few years ago I only noticed just now, while uploading the photo, that the music paper background is upside down!!!
O well, I never heard the recipient complain so who knows she never may have spotted it.
As for making this card, I stamped the image first and gave her some colour with markers, for a polka dot dress I dotted the dress with a black fine tip marker. I placed a mask over the image and went over it with a dauber and some TH Distress ink Fired Brick, then stamped the music notes.
Layered it to red cardstock and black, made the border with fine gold tape stripes. As for the 3 vinyl records they are just circle punches, the labels on the records are pictures from the internet and printed out on to copy paper and adhered on to the black circles, punched a tiny hole in the middle of each record.
The card base is red in front and white in the back (I ran out of red cardstock for the whole card so improvised with white)
The music sheet paper has distressed edges and a bit of TH ink on it, placed this on my card base, layered the main panel to the front, glued a piece of polka dot ribbon underneath and made a little sentiment tab made with gold alpha stickers.
The sentiment on the inside says:
CONGRATS party girl!
Hope you have a ROCKING BIRTHDAY!!!

I believe your music paper is the correct side up. The F and the P belong at the bottom of the scales. It's all good and this is a GREAT music card. So fun and so full of life.

Really Lisa?
As for music notes I cant spot the difference between a F and a P, so I only noticed the dot things being upside down compared to the notes from the script stamp.
But thank you for your reply, I feel so much better now knowing I didn't goofed it up. ;-)

What a hoot your card is, Elisabeth - I love the AI images and the utter abandon of this lady's dancing has me in stitches - LOVE how you did your BG and have the music flowing thru her hands!!
