When I saw today's ways to use it challenge to use beads, I wasn't sure of my direction as I knew I needed to make a sympathy card. As soon as I saw this paper sitting out though, I thought I could make it work with tiny bead accents on the flowers. I had the paper upside down at first and had already adhered my ribbon (which somehow had glue on the front of the card)....at any rate, when I pulled the ribbon off, I lost a bit of paper with it. So, I took out my blue paint dauber and used my finger to smear over the bare spot and then also added some more accents. My sentiment is stamped in Versamark and embossed in Espresso.

Great rescue, Gail....if you hadn't said, no one would have guessed. : ) Your paper has a lovely hand-painted quality and the colors are beautiful. The bead stamens are a perfect addition for today's challenge. Lovely card.

Lovely paper, Gail. Like Sallie, I wouldn't have known there was a rescue called for, in fact I'm still trying to see it. The beads are just perfect for an addition to the flower stamens.

I would never have guesses you made a mess and then fixed it, Gail. I love it when you can hide a boo-boo! This paper is fab, and the bead in the center of each flower is wonderful!

Wow what a fantastic job saving this after pulling off the bow. I am so sorry you needed a sympathy card but this is fantastic. The beads are a perfect addition to these flowers. Thank you for playing along in my first challenge. Hugs!
