Hello all,
I did the wrinkle free bg and tweaked it by using coarse salt. I left the salt on till the paper was completely dry then just wiped it off into the trash. I wanted to use this new image by Crissy Armstrong because the little blue bird is all bundled up to stay warm which is the theme for this week. I know it is suppose to be a cardinal but the Blue Jays where we live also have the crested head and blue matches my bg!!
I added some snowflakes that I already had cut out from other projects. I used Liquid Pearls on the image snow and Stickles on the snow on the branch.
Thanks for looking!

This is beyond cute!!! We don't have Blue Jays here, but I am guessing they all look great wearing ear muffs and a scarf. Your colouring always blows me away my friend. This background is fantastic. Thanks for a fun challenge Robin.

Great background you have on this cutie, Robin! An appropriate challenge as it's snowing here in PA! Love it. Sorry to say I have to pass on this wonderful challenge....I don't have coarse salt or bleach wipes!

Robin, this little blue bird is beyond cute. He makes me smile and all warm inside despite the cold :-). Your choice of colors is so pretty. Love the bit of sparkle on the snow as well. Adorable card.

What a great card to get our creative juices flowing to use the the challenge techniques. Have been following a comic where the bird is wearing a mitten on his head.
