A card for my DD 'just because'. I was planning to visit her on Monday, but the roads were bad, and it hasn't become very much better now. When I looked at this delightful tulip stamp, that I have had for several years, but never inked it up, I got an idea. This stamp has 5 tulips. I masked along the way as I stamped a row of them. Coloured them with copics and then fussy cut around the tops of the flowers. I stamped the biker and coloured the image and also coloured a road for her to be on. The original stamp has a dog in the basket at the back of the bike, but I cut out a little photo of my grandson's head and put him in the basket, because that is where he rides all the time. After inking the road, I adhered the lower part of the flower panel to the bottom of the card and put dimensionals under the tops of the flowers. I used a post it note to sponge the rays of the sun, starting at the left and working toward the right.

Ina, this is such a fun idea for your daughter! Kudos to you for all the masking and fussy cutting and LOVE the photo of your grandson in the basket! It's so nice to see a card like this while we are in the middle of winter with snow and freezing temperatures!

How fun, and so clever to include the grandson - she'll love it! I'll have to remember that little trick of only putting the dimensionals on one edge - that could come in very handy! Thanks for sharing...
