Mary chose wonderful colors for today; Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Garden Green, Neutral: White and for Dessert: use a tree on your card.
Well, I did not use the whole tree but branches from the holly, pine and etc...
This is also for
TLC510 ~ Scrappy Backgrounds ~ (12/01/14) by joan Ervin
I chose these two;
4. Use only patterned paper, only cardstock, or mix them up!!
6. Make sure at least half of the background is covered with at least 3 or more different colored or designer papers.
I made the pinecones with a i.o. chick shape die and drew the layers with a gold uniball pen and a dark brown copic marker. The different pieces of greenery are from various dies and punches that have been hanging around. The swirly background and diagonal sentiment strip were all previously made for no reason.
I needed this challenge to make this card happen. Thank you Joan for the challenge.
Thanks for viewing!

So clean and classy, Angela. That is what stands out in your creative style, and I love it. Love the beautiful pierced sentiment panel set on the diagonal, and your gorgeous pine and greenery spray.

You have a knack for piecing just the right things together -- that embossing bg looks like it was made for your leaves and pine cones!! I love the way you slanted the sentiment up like that.
