This is my card for today's WT503 challenge. Linda is our hostess and she gave us a favorite's challenge. She wants us to use our favorite color, technique, coloring medium, stamp, sentiment any thing goes.
Right now one of my fave techniques is using dies. It makes card making so easy.
On this card, I used stamps & dies from several companies to create my "thanksgiving blessings" project.
For my background, I used the Stampin-Up "Hardwood" stamp. Stamped with crumb cake ink on crumb cake card stock. It gave my card the rustic look I was after.
From there, I used dies to cut the cornstalk (MFT), pumpkins (Impression Obsession), acorns and leaves (spellbinders). To color my leaves I used some distress inks.
The "Thanksgiving" word is part of the stamp from Stampabilities. I die cut the "blessings" word with a die from Simon Says Stamp.

Wonderful Thanksgiving card with a rural feeling.....owing to the combination of dies and textures you incorporated, Mary. Lovely choice of colors too.

Mary, this card is so warm...with the rustic country feel you gave it with the bg. Love the sentiment die...neat font. Thanks for playing in the challenge. Fav'd
Your leaves are beautiful! I love how you colored them. I have wanted that corn stalk die ever since I saw it. One of these days it's going to leap into my cart! I am with you, I love dies! Terrific Fall card!
