This is for Lydia's fun HYCCT challenge - Favourite Chilhood Book. I have three favs - Anne of Green Gables, Little Women and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. I decided to do Little Women.
After severing the heads of two little women during the fussy cutting stage (ironically neither of them was Beth), I decided to turn this into 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. So here we have Molly, Polly and Agupie!!
For the tree I cut a piece of green cardstock in the shape of a tree then covered it with punched leaves adhered with school glue and added lots of stickles.
I handmade the stockings, hung them up on brads and 3D foam tape. The card looked a bit unbalanced so I removed a stocking and put it beside Agupie. I purposely left the brad in place on the far wall.
Thank you for looking. I hope you are joining in HYCCT. For this challenge and all the previous challenges click here .

Fabulous as always, Susie. I'd love to have seen what you would have done with Little Women, but this is pretty amazing. I always preferred the later books in that series!

I am just in awe of your little scenes on a card, Susie, the dimension and detail are spectacular - that tree, well, words fail me, even with my list of adjectives!! Adorable, creative, sweet, fun and pretty will have to do!!!!

Oh my Susie! What a stunner! You use the depth of these cards to such an amazing advantage. Love the papers you chose and your tree is fab! I'm a big fan of Anne and Little Women-and a bunch of other LMAlcott books too.

WONDERFUL representation of Twas the Night B4 Christmas, also one of my fav books--child and adult hood. Sooo cute girls w/their coordinated outfits. Neat "wallpaper" and there's that awesome staircase. The clock is a nice touch. Their stockings are out, waiting for Santa to stuff them full of goodies. I like the 3-D branches and all the little sparkly rhinestones. My fav Martha Stewart punch is that same branch. I've used it so often that I always hope it won't break. I agree with Sallie ... your cards are works of paper ART! Huggles my friend.

I love the comical, yet very real, evolution of your cards. Your cards have so much detail that is part of a bigger story that it just keeps the viewer looking for more clues. I think those stockings are super cute.
