I had made holiday cards clear back in January when I managed to find Tim Holtz's Victorian Carolers Sizzix die for $5, but I was very unhappy with the cards. They were just...*shakes head*...I can't explain it.
I decided this year to make holiday tags instead of full-blown cards to simplify, but even "simplified," making 15 tags still cost me 4 hours worth of work.
I eye-balled the little lady tags and made them myself, adding hole reinforcers after I punched the holes. I then covered them with iridescent medium and let dry. I took the Distress inks and with water, smeared each of the tags in Evergreen Bough and Fired Brick and let dry. I then stamped the lady on one tag, colored her in, triple embossed, and added Glossy Accents on the clock she carries. I then took the "unmarked" tag stamp I had, stamped separately, and added the bicycle with the Yuletide Greetings. I then positioned the two tags together and affixed with ribbon so the "Yuletide Greetings" sticks out. The tags can be taken apart, and the little lady might be used as a fancy bookmark after the holiday season is over.

I forgot to add that I also took Liquid Applique' and added it around her chest area and around the sleeves. I then hit it with the heat gun in order to make it puff up.
