For Susie's challenge: birds, music, encouragement. Also for this week's Freshly Made Sketches. I used mostly dp for this creation. I sponged the bird in chocolate, popped him up, cut each leaf from dp and nestled him in, added twine, rounded one corner. Thanks for stopping in today! ~Roberta

The bluebird of happiness sings to his love to encourage her to accept the birdhouse he has chosen. He'll sing to her as long as it takes. Let's be the song for our sisters who struggle with this awful disease and sing - no matter how long it takes.
So much lovely interest on this card, Roberta. Beautifully encouraging in the soft blues and wonderful chocolate color palette. Thank you so much for sharing your gift of talent with us, and for playing in the 2014 HYCCT Challenge and card drive.

You have such a wonderful sense of color, Roberta. Love your sweet card with the beautiful bird sitting in the leaf cluster. Pretty combination of DPs in the bg.

This is a great layout...very versatile..I need to remember this one. I love the dp used not just for the bg but as the bird and leaves. Awesome brown leaves btw. The one rounded corner adds some fun interest to this as well.
