It's been a while since I had time to play with the inspirational challenge..but to-day was the day! I chose this lovely picture http://fineartamerica.com/featured/a...r-lommers.html . I absolutely love the colours. The flower is of course a 'Rocky' flower! (That cat is such a genius at creating things with his tail! see previous posts to show how they are made) The leaves also use vellum and a two step Nellie Snellen punch. I used a Marianne Designs die-cut for the centre but since it doesn't cut-out on the outside I just traced around the die with a pencil and hand cut one side with my scissors. Since it is a flip/swing card it was easy enough to do. Since the main image was so detailed all that was left to do was fill in the spaces with corner stickers.

Wow - you have captured elegance and compassion all in one perfect card. I love the gold accents - they complement the flower beautifully. I also really like the texture of whatever is behind the die cut - it really emphasizes the richness of the shape. TYFS!
