This is for Holly's Stripping Down HYCCT Challenge where she asked us to use leftover strips for a bg on our cards. I love using up strips! I have a few bags full over by my tabletop cutter and every once in a while I think to use them. It sure is easy peasy! I started by grouping colors of strips together then I simply cut some cheap white cs the size I want and use a glue stick to cover it in glue. It is best to start at the edge to make sure things get lined up straight to start with then I just lay all the strips in place. Once I've covered my piece, I flip it over and snip the excess strips off. I scored my card base for this one and then added my die cut tree (which I stamped and sponged) and my die cut sentiment which was cut from a polished stone piece of paper I'd made. I originally had this vertical, but decided the tree would look better against the strips horizontally.

This is so classy and elegant. I love your neutral paper strips and how your pink sentiment really pops out. Thank you so much for playing in my challenge today!
