Today's challenge posed quite a dilemma for me. First, I own very few punches and second, I love to mat images. I needed to find a way to create mats in keeping with the guidelines for a single punch on each color. So...I cut a strip of dark blue paper making the top 1/2 of the strip 3/16" wider and longer than the bottom half. I then cut the light blue glitter paper the same way and flipped it 180 degrees. I then folder each sheet and inserts the paper in the tree punch fold first and punched. This yielded two trees and two negative images (one facing up, the other down. I did need to cut the glitter strip in half before gluing the two negative images together. I then used the dark blue tree to mat the glitter tree and the glitter tree to mat the dark blue tree. I then offset each matted tree in the negative tree to give the appearance of a third tree. Whew! Oh, I dry embossed the dark blue tree on top and the dark blue background on the bottom with Swiss dots.
