I die cut my leaves. I rubbed Gelatos onto acetate and wet with alcohol (too lazy to run upstairs for water) then laid my leaves in to pick up the color. After they wer dry I added stamping. I then crumpled the leaves and added sharpie copper accents. I masked off the lower part of the acorn before stamping with the grunge lines. Did you know that when you shake a metallic sharpie with the lid off it sprays ink all over your desk? I now have copper accents all over the place. I picked up some of them by pressing my card base which I'd textured first into the spritzes all over my desk. I added my burlap strip. I stamped my sentiment on my punched piece and then sponged the edges.

Cute. I like the burlap with the leaves and acorn. It just fits perfectly with them. I tried cutting burlap with a die on a card I recently made and it really didn't look right. I love using it though. Your card is unique.

Oh yes, I do know. Not with a Sharpie, mind you, but a leafing pen is about the same thing. The slight stamping on the leaf, and especially the lines on the acorn cup, look wonderful, Gail.

. Snorting with laughter. ..you have such an expressive way with words! I could just picture it. Glad others have these explosive accidents, and it's not just me. Love the card, by the way!

What a brilliant idea to use a paper bag for the leaves --- I love it!
