I made this 4.5 x 6.25" card for my dear friend Loretta's birthday in April. I am a clean and simple girl all the way so doing shabby chic is really hard for me on my own. So.... I cased this gorgeous card from Cathy Mc on scs at Embrace Life by Cathy Mc at Splitcoaststampers. Even though I made this card over 5 months ago, I still remember how much fun I had making this card. I colored the seam binding by spritzing it with water, then adding Tim Holtz Broken China reinker with an aqua brush. I did this several times until I had the color intensity I wanted. Same thing for the blue flowers and butterfly. The tag I cut at 2" x 3.5" and used a corner punch on the top to shape it into a tag. Everything else is die cut and layered together. I want to thank Cathy for her wonderful inspiration card because I never could have come up with this on my own, and it was a joy to make.
