Since I had ALL my gold papers and such out I ended up using gold for the next challenge as well. I embossed the gold paper with my Sunburst EF (sorry it is discontinued) Next I stamped the black glossy paper using Versamark with a patterned stamp, then I used the gold embossing powder. I then cut the butterflies from my handmade paper! I added black brilliants for the bodies.
I haven't decided who will get this card so no sentiment yet. I will probably use a die cut Thank You or Happy Birthday in Black glossy paper down in the right hand corner.
This was probably the most challenging card I have ever photographed.

Peggy, you have never made a card that is not the epitome of class and elegance! I have to agree with Sallie on THIS one! WOW! Love the shimmer, the gold and the stunning butterflies in black and gold! Your photography is awesome too!

All of your cards are gorgeous and I love all the gold in this one. Love how you made the butterflies out of your handmade stamped paper. Into my favorites.

OMG........Absolutely Stunning gold background and gold and black butterflies Peggy. I can imagine how difficult it was to photograph. Turned out beautifully! TFS mf.

Wow - this is so pretty Peggy! I love what Jo said! LOL! This has a spiritual feel to it - really - it makes me think of how we should be looking in the light and going toward it every day of our lives. Really beautiful and into my faves! I vote no sentiment on the front. Hugz!

I am constantly amazed with all of your beautiful cards and creativity..... I can almost feel the warmth of the sun with the gold brilliance radiating from the embossed background on this one... Love the technique you have used on the butterflies..... Brilliantly beautiful.....
