Audrie..this site is so beautiful!! I just had to play! I'm leaving for a week at the lake later today and still have a million things to do but I feel in love with this lampshade . I sponged the coral ink on top of the embossing and also along the edges of the bottom. I wanted to create a pleated look so I cut the bottom stamped lace into 3 parts and sponged along the edges. I'll try to comment today inbetween cleaning, packing, running to the store I'll be w/o internet this week..hopefully the weather will cooperate...if it rains though not to worry..I'm also taking along plenty of books and booze..lol!

That lampshade thrilled me too and you totally captured the feel of it on this gorgeous card. Love the way you did the bottom panel and texture and the layers are wonderful. So elegant and beautiful! Hugz!

Oh Polly. That lampshade is so gorgeous, it was almost sacred and I wouldn't have known where to start. You sure did well for a "quick one". I do know what you mean about the time. Sundays are always crazy for me. Your embossing is perfect and the gold accent rocks.
