I'm a bit later than I wanted to be for this challenge but I have an excuse...I sewed the little shirt. My teapotting friends may remember how I stitched my little finger when I tried to use machine stitching to frame a card so I was a bit apprehensive making such a tiny little shirt. Took my time and was very careful and guess what...no injuries. The hat and flip flops are made from cork and a bit of ribbon. the lei and other flowers have yellow stickles in the middle.
This card is going out to a fellow teapotter for our monthly tickle.

OMG and wow, wow, wow...I can't believe how creative you are. The sewn shirt and cork hat and flip flops are sooo cute. You just need Barbie and Ken dolls to model them. What an awesome card. Just love everything about it.

Super FUN card, Elizabeth! I can't believe you undertook sewing that little shirt, wow! Made me fondly remember my sweet Aunt Nan or dearest G'ma and I making Barbie clothes. The cork and ribbon hat and flip flops are cool, too. GREAT job on this Tickle card!

Wow - Elizabeth, you actually sewed that! When I first glanced at the card I thought it was origami, and then I looked again and saw the stitching so I scrolled down to your write-up. How even did you get those tiny hems turned up. I always used to burn my fingers on the iron if I had to turn such tiny edges.
It was only when I went back for another (third) look that I realised the flipflops were cork. You might have been slow getting this uploaded but with all the amazing details in it it's obvious where your time went. This is so summery and totally delightful.

Why, that's some amazing detail work. I can't imagine sewing anything that small. In fact, all your little items are wonderful -- when I glanced at the thumbnail, I thought you'd used a packet of scrapbooking embellies, but doing it by hand is so much more impressive.

Wow!!! This is totally amazing Elizabeth. I cannot believe all the detail, the work, that went into this gem. I don't sew so the fact that you sewed that tiny shirt blows be away. And the cork hat and flip flops are genius. Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge. TFS
