I've been admiring the cards by Karen (k dunbrook) and Sallie (hobbydujour) using this two step Rubbernecker stamp so finally broke down and bought it. Here's my first attempt at using it.
I had a scrap of watercolour paper leftover from experimenting with my new Smooch Spritz sprays so used it to determine the pink colours of my flowers. I used the various pinks in my new Local King Rubber Co. markers to ink up the solid flowers, then spritzed with water to blend the colours. I stamped the outline stamp and the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black.
It's also for the new challenge "NBUS" (which means "never before used stuff") at Darnell's blog:
Yummo, Susan, you did such a sensational job of watercoloring with this incredible stamp (which, aaackk, now I want!!) The shades of pink and the splotches are divine! Thank you for joining in and supporting my NBUS Challenge and spreading the word through your gallery! I appreciate it very much! Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Darnell

Gorgeous card Susan!! I have been admiring Karen's cards using the Rubbernecker stamps too (and all her other cards as well!). I went and looked at the site and WOW ... lots of beautiful images. I need to place an order!
