Another card for today's two challenges. For the CAS, I chose this CARD of Angela's...being drawn to the layout and colors.
For the TLC, I printed the sentiment after I had done the scene. Being one layer, it had no problem going through the printer. For the bg, I used the technique introduced by Audrie and popularized by Karen....It involves inking an EF, misting with water and laying the paper on top for a print. I masked out the area for my fish before placing the paper on the EF.

Side note: I thought the original was too busy with the embossed bg, so I unmounted it and put it on plain white.

WOW! What an awesome technique and one that I am not familiar with. Even more impressive is that you masked your image. Your coloring of this is amazing again, Sallie! Love the bit of seaweed you added too!

Your bright, bold colors stand out so nicely against the white bg, Sallie! I love the fish not all in the picture, and the bits of green seaweed on either ends is captivating! You have used these techniques very well~

awesome card- love the colors you achieved- and I am glad you explained how you did it- as I'm not the only one who forgets about inking her embossing folders (and using masking). A fave in the gallery today!
