I made 8 cards for this, so be sure you see all eight! The first three will posted together, then the other five.
My cards describe "eras", some in general, some in music. They all feature the snowman from the Beautiful Season set.
The first depicts "The Dark Ages" and has the image done in black embossing powder on black cardstock.
The second is 16th Century England, when heads literally rolled.
The third is the year 2000 and "The Millennium Bug", with the caterpillar from the Bugs & Slugs set leaving traces of a "virus" everywhere it crawls (the blue specks).
The fourth is the 50's, depicted as musical, vinyl records, and black and white, because tv back then was black & white.
The fifth is the 60's, all tie-dyed, flower powered, and psychedellic swirls.
The sixth is one of my favorites, the 70's disco era, complete with "Saturday Night Fever" light up disco floor (square jelly stickers) and disco ball (circle punch with silver ink and dazzling diamonds glitter. The snowman is black and white, resembling John Travolta's black and white disco suit.
The seventh depicts the "big hair" 80's... nuff said!
The last is also a favorite of mine, depicting a heavy metal snowman printed in silver metallic ink on black, with silver brad "studs", silver eyelets, and a silvertone chain from the hardware store. How can ya not like a "bad boy" snowman?
