Jenn's Three Tier Slider technique challenge yesterday was perfect for getting a birthday card for one of my teen nephews sorted out.
It's been so long since I've made one of these that I was starting at the bottom of the learning curve all over again, but I'm so happy that it turned out better than the first one I made some years back. I always reckon it takes at least two goes to get the feel of most folds - and I still haven't got a feel for the Tri-shutter, rolls eyes.
I followed the tutorial, though I cut the slits slightly longer so that all my sentiment and star panel would show. They're both coloured with gelatos after stamping. Pocket on front is popped up on foam and I can tuck some cash into it.
Now... I just need to find where on earth the card I addressed to my other teen nephew, with $$ in it, is. I addressed it on Sunday and it's vanished, grrrr.

Thanks for posting this card. It answers a need for teen cards which I have right now! 40 teens going to World Changers and we're making 8 different cards for each of them. Love the denim look paper and the red tab.
