Busy week - and weekend here, so I am just getting my card done for YESTERDAY! We were to make a card for our choice of the beach or the mountains - I chose the beach, even though it is still too cold to go there!!
Inked up the masking tape in the 3 colors - not a perfect line up and I should NOT have stamped the sandpipers twice! added the reeds on the side and sponged a little deeper color at their base. Also use paper towels to color my sky, and stitched around my card (which I have not done in a LONG TIME) Added the rick rack and there she is!!
If you want to join us this week, just add TSC0314 to your keywords!! Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Sue, my friend, this is one lovely beach scene! And you know what? I like the second stamping of sandpipers - nothing like having all your buddies at the beach *giggle* Nice job masking, and those clouds -- whoa baby! I love those clouds!! Very nice, Sue. Hope this finds you well. : )

I love this sandpipers image and the way you've used it here - the masking tape technique gives unique, beautiful bands of colour which are perfect for the the scene along a beach and horizon - a very beautiful and very peaceful, serene thinking of you card!

My original plan was to use that same stamp and do the beach theme, but I went with a mountain theme instead. You did a beautiful job on this! Love how you used that technique to make your BG! Awesome beach themed card!!!

Sue, I came very close to using this set too! I absolutely love beach scenes. They can be soothing, up-lifting and refreshing. Often a place for me to go to meditate and be one with the world! Love your card and especially the stitching which is something I have yet to try!

Oh, Sue, this is fabulous! Living in South Florida, we have LOTS of sandpipers - so cute! Darling use of this set and lovely coloring, and I especially love your stitching! Hugs!
