For today's Technique Lovers' Challenge (Let's Don't and Say We Did) we were to make a one-layer card that didn't necessarily look like it. Reverse masking is one of my favorite techniques, so I used the negative of a diecut and sponged in the middle before stamping the image and sentiment. I also drew gold lines around the edge of the card to make it look layered. This is a sneak peek at a brand-new set from Mark's Finest Papers called Fairies. Look for it next week.

What a great idea to draw the gold around the edges...it really does look like a layer, Lois!!! Love the *layer* you created with the reverse masking, too, and the fairy is just tooo cute!!!!

I really like that reverse mask you used, and the gold makes it looks layered for sure.
