Today Bridget introduced us to our new FS for this week - Tina (aka GardenDiva). There was no way I was going to let the day go by without honoring Tina. Tina has a wonderful gallery, and she is always so kind to leave a comment on others' cards. That being said, this is the card of Tina's that inspired me:
Obviously I changed the color scheme I left the "slanted" sentiment off, and "slanted" my image. Her collage image is what inspired me to use my new collage image.
Now a note about my image. My stamp is 5" x 5", yet my card is an A2 size. So what I did was stamped my image, colored and sponged it, scanned it, downsized it to fit my A2, and touched it up just a bit - voila, it fits my card - YAY!
Thanks so much for taking a closer look - hope you like it.

I am amazed at your color combinations and your fabulous coloring! The splash of bright color on the ribbon brings this together so perfectly! Beautiful tribute to Tina!

Beautiful Barb. I love the vintage look you give your cards and this one is gorgeous. Love the ribbon woven through the die cut and how computer savy you are!

Well Barb you are a very clever stamper. Wouldn't have thought of reducing a colored image.... duhhhh....... I will remember it now!! The card you chose to CASE is very close to my heart and it brings back bitter sweet memories of my dear friend Connie and our fun trip to France. Absolutely LOVE what you created...
Thanks for playing in my challenge.
