Okay, I have to STEP AWAY from the craft table and do some housework, but THIS colour palette was calling to me because I have some vintage wrapping paper from the Irish vintage/retro store and website, Avoca, which seemed just right. Cut strategically, I should be able to make a lot of cards with it, and it has a rich linen texture IRL. I added some lace, pins, button, flower and a sentiment (Mother's Day is in March here in Ireland/U.K.).

OMWord, Bridget, this is sooooo right up my alley! I love vintage papers. This is stunning. What a lovely Mother's Day card this is (you mum is going to love it). I for one love using scenes from beautiful papers to incorporate into card designs. The addition of embellishments only adds to the beauty. I also think it appeals to all levels of card crafting experience. Into my favs, Bridget! Now, I too must clean house. We are putting away Christmas decorations today (inside and outside).

ALL of your cards are amazing and beautiful, but I think this one is my very favorite one! It's delicate and feminine and I love that! Straight to my favs!
