This is for VSN using a brayer. This card is very simple and quick to make, stamp the moon with resist and I dried it with heat to speed things up. Brayer with blue, and stamp the figures. Stars are added with StazOn white
I've added additional info here since this card was in the Weekly Inking newsletter link and I've been messaged about five times for instructions.
The moon is stamped with a resist ink – Ranger Resist or clear VersaMark either one will work. You can speed the drying time of that ink with a heat gun but it should be dry or it can be picked up on the brayer and leave white marks where you don’t want them.
Now you brayer the navy over the card moving very fast side to side, back and forth and I pick the brayer up so it spins to avoid lines. Continue with the brayer until it looks smooth and even, you may want to add more ink to the brayer as you go.
I find that StazOn black does the best coverage for all solid images. If you donÂ’t have it then butt a stamp positioner up to the stamp once itÂ’s on paper and reload and stamp again until you coverage is solid. It used the positioner even with StazOn.
I stamped the bear first, I then did the grasses and the trees were last. I did use a stamp positioner for these images. The bear picked up a glare in the scan but in real life it is solid black.
The last step was to add the stars with white StazOn. The image was a period on some sentiment that I cut off, but if you have any stamp like Stampin UpÂ’s Itty Bitty backgrounds you could use just one dot from that.
If you should have further questions feel free to PM me.

Great job with this challenge! I love how you are able to create a realistic night sky and landscape scene all starting with the brayer!! Very nice! Thanks for playing!
