Scrapbooking is something I really wish I did more ofÂ…but no, I just keep making more cards and hoarding themÂ…..scrapbooking can be passed on to future generations, and you can get your thoughts and feelings down on paper. "This is how small Layla Paige and Brooklyn Sophia were when they moved to Ohio in 2009. They just moved back to NY last month. As with any change, even though it's a good thing on so many levels, it is not without pain. It was therapeutic to scrap these pics of them in their winter finery. How I love these 2 little girls. They are even MORE beautiful today if that is possible, inside AND out. A great big old piece of my heart moved with themÂ…..my favorite life saying is "Don't cry cuz it's over, smile cuz it happened" - I sure am getting lots of practice putting that one into action lately! I love you Layla Paige and I love you Brooklyn SophiaÂ….and I will miss you forever, but our hearts are forever joined!!

Sweet page, Karen. I love the black and white combined with the soft blue. Your little grand daughters are beautiful, and I know the bittersweet feelings as they grow older! My two grands are now 8 and 6, and I do scrapbook for them, but am always hopelessly behind : ( I foresee many trips to New York for you!
