hi there,
Congrats to Sandie aka sistersandie and her wonderful gallery. She always leaves such kind and generous comments in the gallery. Here is the card that inspired me: SC453 Snowflakes by sistersandie at Splitcoaststampers
Sandie's snowflakes inspired me to try a the faux embossing technique that I have seen here several times. I changed the layout and the snowflakes are different then the ones she used. I die cut the snowflakes and glued them onto the same coloured cs. When dry, I sanded them with an emery board to help define their shapes. I mounted the piece onto my card front, then added the scoring lines and the silver twine with the cute snowflake button I found.
Thanks for looking,

you've created an awesome collection of snowflake cards, Karen! I especially like this one. love the look of the bold color panel against the thin trim.

Thank you Karen for your kind words, and for joining in on my very special day. I never, ever, thought this would happen to me - my DH said I was incoherent when I opened Bridget's message!
Your card is beautiful and I love your faux embossing, it's set off beautifully with the silver twine and snowflake.
