Well, this didn't turn out anything like I had pictured. If I find time I will do another one, if not I am afraid this is the tickle card someone is going to get. Sorry!!
Used two different frame die-cuts and mounted the cake on top. The cake was embossed and then sponged. Added gold ric rac to the layers and added sticker flowers and chiffon flowers on top. Brads finished it off. TFL

Faith, there is nothing wrong with this beautiful cake! I love the frilly top flowers and the wonderful embossed layers! Good thing all these cakes aren't real, I'm saving room for the feast on Thanksgiving Day!

Wow Faith, this is terrific. ANY teapotter would love to receive this. I don't know what you had in mind, but I love what you have right here. For your sake though, I hope you tickle someone local. This would attract parcel post in Australia LOL.

What on earth are you apologising for, Faith!! It may not be what you envisaged, but gosh, I'd be thrilled to get this, I think it looks just GORGEOUS with the embossing and pastel colours, and the flowers do indeed look like wonderful ruffled frosting.
On the other hand, I'm feeling embarrassed that I used one of Gabby's photos for my inspiration and it doesn't actually look like a cake at all .

Wow, that is one gorgeous cake and delicious looking in every way! Your frosting on top looks wonderful. Very neat and now I'm craving some buttercream frosting.
