I saw this Fountain pen site from our inspirational challenge....WOWZERS...talk about gorgeous pens....makes one want to make them a collection....but by the looks of them....I am glad the price tags are not right there.
My inspiration changed....happens a lot when you cant make up your mind...it started with this one http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...13852471581919
then could not make up my mind with the silver or gold there were a few pens black and gold. Then there were ones with black and gold and red like this one. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...38524725386111
.I tried with the black and gold then first, but on its own looked wierd so do like the touch of red. then I am still mastering embossing and noticed it smeared a bit in a couple places...so hence the magical little glitter dots for a couple little extra designs...hope it works...almost threw it out and started again, but almost 1;30 a.m. here so maybe tommorrow. Lovely challenge tho...ty and ty all for the visit...:0)...p.s......if the pen pics I chose for inspiration do not work...I am sorry, was not sure how to do it then checked that video and to me still did not work, unless it takes a while for the fix to take place. then black and silver is one of the 5 she chose for us to start adn the other is a red, black and gold one....ssoooo sorry if didnt work..:0)...

Wendy, your card is as opulent as many of the pens on Audrie's board. Gold embossing on black is always impressive. I get the "sparkle dots" since black is a very unforgiving color to emboss on. ; )

Your gold embossing on the black is beautiful! I think one of the greatest skills needed in stamping is how to make an "oops" in to a "wow" and you did a great job making the smear beautiful! Beautiful rich color combo!

So pretty! I love the elegant gold embossing and the red corners are perfect! Great job on the "fix". Can't tell you how many times I have to fix or cover up things.

What a beautiful and bold card...I can imagine a fountain pen of black lacquer with inlaid red...and of course the gold nib...you translated it perfectly, Wendy! It was a fun challenge, wasn't it?
