I had a lovely piece of blue/white printed card from an advertising flyer in my scrap box so pulled it out to use as a wintery background for my die cut snowflake. I cut the snowflake die out of the centre of it and then cut it again out of shimmery white cs. I set the white snowflake into the space left in the blue background and mounted it all onto a scrap of silver cs. Rather than trim the silver down at the bottom, I punched it with a border punch. Added a sentiment and a snowflake gem and it was done!
It's for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge to use up scraps and for the Christmas Cards All Year Round challenge to use snow or snowflakes.
I'll be using up the blue printed snowflake and the white cs leftover from die cutting this card's snowflake on another card - I'm really on a roll with trying to use up scraps!
