Could hardly wait to play today. Why just the other day I found these chipboard shapes in a drawer and wondered how I would ever use them. Well low and behold, Cathy's WT449 challenge today was to use "chipboard". Problem solved!
Since they were on the large size I wondered how I would fit them on an A2 card. Well Teresa was having us "Stand Tall" for the HYCCT challenge, which was to make a tall card. Another problem solved!.....details....
Made my white card out of white cs, set aside. Cut out the center panel using craft cs, glued on strips of the comics from the newspaper using matte medium. After it dried I Gessoed it.
Using acrylic paints and my finger I painted the bg then set aside.
Since the flowers were already a done item, I put some floss bows on two buttons and glued them on the center of the flowers. Set aside.
Drew, cut out, Gessoed the pot, stems and leaves. After they dried I colored them with acrylic paints.
Glued my parts onto my painted bg popping up the flowers. Then I put it on my white card. Done.
I had a lot of fun making this card. It really looks good IRL.....at least I think so. hehe Have a great day everyone!....TFL :0)

Another fun, unique card! Love the techniques you use and incredible imagination on using resources on hand. Great card Cathy and love that you used the comics as a base for your main panel!
