Perfect Paper Crafting teamed up with Operation Write Home for a birthday bash blog hop and this is my entry for the hop. If youÂ’d like to follow the hop hereÂ’s a direct link to my blog post which includes direct links to all the designers. Remembering our soldiers has always been a priority for me.
To space my striped panels I used ¼” Perfect Layers from Perfect Paper Crafting ruler by placing it against the first layers edge the same as if I were preparing to cut a border but instead I line the second panel up to the ruler and create a perfect space between layers. Photo for this procedure can be found here (blog link).
For the out of the box technique I used the Perfect Ruler lined up evenly on the panel and cut to the images and between the lines with a craft knife then continued cutting under the images with scissors. IÂ’ve also used the Perfect Square for this technique. As you can see I also use re positional tape for extra hold.
The Fancy Leaf die cuts and Martha Stewart border punch were attached with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue and gems with AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze.
