Happy Teapot Tuesday.... It's the last Tuesday of the month which means that we Tickle a Teapotter. That means we get to send our cards to each other. Such fun to get a card in the mail from a fellow teapotter. Drawing is random so you never know who has your name until the mailperson brings you the card!! This week we were taken to Switzerland for inspiration. They spun a tale about an Irishman married to a German Frau and they live in a French town. The tale went on to talk about cheese and clocks and CHOCOLATE !!! So here is the card my hands made. My mind was a little surprised when I looked at the finished card. Did some paper piecing and popped awning up on dimensionals. Kind of fun... just right for one of my fellow teapotters. I used an old MFT stamp set and had my Bon Ami (good friend) meet me to have a scrumptuous French chocolate cake and a glass of red wine.
The extra points in this card is a foreign sentiment.
Sa Va???.....Sa Va Bien!!!
Merci

I love this card, Tina! The paper pieced dresses are very stylish! Now tell that skinny girl to get her hands off my chocolate cake! She can have the wine! hahaha Great awning, too!

Oh - so perfect! We don't have the weather for cafes with awnings here so much, but we certainly saw plenty in Switzerland. What a super-tasty treat those good friends are enjoying.
I like your foreign sentiment, too - but just to give you a heads-up that un bon ami must be a man! Your BFF would be une bonne amie ;-). It' still perfect for earning you extra cookies, though. As if you need them with that cake, LOL.

Sabrina..........the Bon Ami was a stamp in the MFT set. So they must not have cared whether it was the masculine or femine noun.. It was fun creating this anyway !!! ha ha

This card is tres bien! Our summer was so busy I really didn't have much time to savor time on the outdoor patios. Now fall is here & it's getting a bit chilly. Your card makes me wish I had spent more time enjoying my meals al fresco.
