i just loved this challenge today but had to work all day!! so I'm just getting to it! This challenge is soo awesome! Thank you Sabrina for your sample because I followed your directions (except I don't know what wrinkle free distress is) I watercolored the background, dried then ran my pigment inked leaves through my Cuttlebug machine. It worked perfectly. I didn't want to put anything else on it because it was so pretty! But I did, I put a Scripture on and mounted to a white card. i FORGOT TO SAY THAT THIS LITTLE "BRANCH" OF LEAVES IS FROM MY FAVORITE TREE THAT I HAVE BABIED SINCE I BROUGHT IT HOME (THAT IS A LONG STORY IN ITSELF). iT IS A PURPLE ROBE LOTUS FROM MY BACKYARD.

Fabulous and kudos to you for such a success and for perseverance! I had no pigments so wasn't getting such a wonderful impression as this is! Gorgeous coloring on your background!

I''ll have to look your tree up when I get home from work, as it's not one I've ever heard off - but it's a beautiful leaf for sure, and a perfect sentiment to go with it.
Your watercoloured background is lovely, and the watercolour paper gives a lovely texture to the card! I thought I'd put a link to the wrinkle-free distress tutorial in my write-up but I must have forgotten, it's there now. It's my quick go-to background at least a couple of times a week ;-).

Going to have to check out that wrinkle free technique! Do you think it will work on me too? :-) What a glowing beauty this is! Nature is a lasting inspiration isn't she? I love the water coloured background too.
