I sponged the bg with distress inks and then stamped leaves in bleach. For some reason this took me forever to make this morning..I keep trying different ways to "remove" color from the bg..I tried a bunch of different mediums: watercolor, gelatos, aqua crayons..but the distress inks worked the best for me. TFL!

The bleached areas look great against the gorgeous inks you used, and that image is adorable!

I'm really enjoying seeing all the cards with the mix challenge today. This really looks great with the bleach method. Thanks for all the hints on what works and what doesn't work. Might even be brave enough to try this. Thanks for the inspiration. Oh yes I love this card. tfs

Love that sponged background on watercolor paper with the bleached out leaves! I haven't tried that in years and love the look. That little squirrel is super cute too. Love your card!
