Arrrh!! I ended up trying a few different things to get my crackle so it has taken me a BIT longer than I would have thought.
But I decided to use crackle medium on a pre-printed piece of cardstock (just because I wasn't sure how it would turn out and didn't want to waste MORE time coloring and ruining...sorry but I have to stop now to laugh at myself LOL!!! what a whiner)
I stamped and formed flower bottom right from Heartfelt. I stamped and colored cone flowers by Stampendous. Used Tea Stain distress ink on everything. Soft Pastels on formed flowers. and needle and thick thread to zig-zag stitch.

Oooh Robin this is FABULOUS! Did you notice the little printed detail that would pass as stitching on the little girl's image? I love that bold embroidery. It adds such great texture. Thank you so much for hanging in there!

I love this! The different flowers added to the card with the sweet image is such a neat effect, and the stitching looks perfect!

Stunning card! Thanks for the inspiration, I have a colored image that I am not all that fond of at the moment, I think I will try your technique to see if it improved the image. lol
Your card is gorgeous with the combination of techniques!
