A big congrats to Sarah, the newest Featured Stamper! What a beautiful gallery she has and I chose her Keeping It Simple to case. I liked the peachy colors and white space, so I kept those but used different images, left off the flower and used edge dies instead of ribbon.
For my birthday card, I used from DRS Designs. Don't you just love this pretty cake image? The only trouble I have with cake images is how to color them. Chocolate or vanilla? I couldn't decide so I went with a peachy vanilla color. To accent it, the flowers and plate were colored a darker peachy/pink and  a purple. I wanted the image to be the centerpiece, so I left background white and used an edger die on the top and bottom edges. I added the sentiment to the front of my 4.25 x 5.50 card. These are the Copics I used: BV000, BV01, BV04, G20, G24, G46, E0000, E00, E50, E51, R000, R20, R21, R22, R11, RV000, RV10, RV21, Y11, YR61
Congrats again, Sarah, enjoy your week! Thanks so much for looking. My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
