Today's Ways to Use It Challenge is to use chevrons. I was trying to come up with ways to only partially emboss with the chevron ef and decided to go on an angle on a cut piece of white. I had recently used b/w/red with Turquoise to make a poppy card and decided to go with that combo again. I cut my poppies in both black and real red and intentionally layered the red to show the black outline. I added a polka dot organdy cheater's bow and glued the panel onto a turquoise base. I double punched my designer label to make a thinner shape and stamped my sentiment in versafine then embossed in black. A few rhinestones scattered here & there (& strategically covering a smudge) and I was done.

Oh, soooo! pretty. I love the red poppies against the white chevron., The gems, and the dotted bow, are the perfect additions to a very pretty card. tfs.
